Ruby Neudecker

Ruby M. Neudecker, age 92, of Glen Carbon, died at 9:51 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2014, at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon.

She was born Feb. 22, 1922, in Edwardsville, the daughter of the late James and Ethel Kershaw Hawkins.

She married Robert Neudecker on Sept. 29, 1951, in Edwardsville. He survives.Also surviving are two daughters: Susan (Steve) Bartlett of Tampa, Fla., and Joan (Paul) Santoro of Collinsville and three grandchildren: Lori Riehl, Michael Santoro and Nicholas Santoro.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Ralph Hawkinis.

Mrs. Neudecker was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and its Ladies Circle. She was employed at the Granite City Army Dept.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, April 18, at First Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April, 18, at the church with Dr. John Hembruch officiating. Interement will be Valley View Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Shriners Hospital for Children or the Alzheimer's Association .
