Edward A. Pakovich

Edward A. Pakovich, age 52 of Edwardsville, died Monday, March 12, 2018, at Saint Louis University Hospital.

He was born Nov. 26, 1965, in Urbana, the son of Gerald and Maxine Jaeck Pakovich.

He married Theresa Marie Schoch on Aug. 18, 2010, in Gatlinburg, Tenn. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother, Maxine and sept-father Douglas Callies of Edwardsville; one sister: Beverly (J.R.) Fuller of New Douglas; one brother: James (Kimberly) Pakovich of Bunker Hill; a mother-in-law: Margaret Woll of Hamel; a sister-in-law: Janet (Scott) Tolie of Hamel; brothers-in-law: Rodney (Diane) Woll of Edwardsville and Ryan (Chrissy) Woll of Edwardsville; step-brothers: Shane Callies of Milwaukee and Shawn (Teresa) Callies of Bethalto and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Gerald Pakovich, father-in-law David Woll, and a niece Brooke Burkhardt.

Mr. Pakovich was a machinist for Patterson Mold and Tool in

 St. Charles, Mo. for over 22 years. He also worked at the Edwardsville Cyclery for many years. He was an avid bike rider and loved his pet dog and cats and camping.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2018

at Saksa Mateer Funeral Home in Edwardsville.

Memorial services will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018

 at the funeral home with the Rev. Adam Dichsen officiating.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or the Madison County Humane Society.
