You truly had to know Michael to love him. He was one of a kind for sure. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all that knew him. He enjoyed his church family at Grace Baptist and shares the word of God every opportunity. He shared a special bond with his 2 cats Ellie Mae and Michael. He had a natural given talent for art/drawing. It wouldn’t be unusual finding him helping others in need whether it be landscaping or handyman work. Simple acts of kindness always. Donations can be made to Mental Health organization in lieu of flowers.
Visitation will be held at Thomas Saksa Funeral home in Granite City on Monday February 23 at 5:00 PM. Services will follow at 7:00 PM. The burial is Tuesday Feb 24, 2026 10:30 am Graveside Calvary in Glen Carbon, IL.
