Jack Wayne Hoppe Jr.

Jack Wayne Hoppe Jr., 35, of Granite City, Ill., born March 14, 1979, died Friday, June 6, 2014.

Mr. Hoppe was a drywaller on construction. He founded the "Mill Skate Park," loved to fish, and baseball.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack E. Hoppe; his mother, Barbara A. Nolan; and sister, Holly Hoppe.

Surviving are his daughters, Ava Hoppe and Mia Hoppe of Granite City, Ill.; his former wife, Traci L. Manis of Granite City, Ill.; in-laws, Linda and Tom Manis of Granite City, Ill.; sister, Missy Hoppe of Granite City, Ill.; brother, Shawn Hoppe of Granite City, Ill.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him.

Memorials may be made to Salvation Army ARC, 4121 Forest Park Ave., St. Louis, Mo.

Visitation: Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Grace East Church, Pontoon Beach, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014, Grace East Church, Pontoon Beach, Ill., with Pastor Steve McKinney officiating.
