Anne Dillow (Shreck)

Anne Dillow (Shreck), age 68, of Edwardsville, IL passed away in her home on August 17, 2023. She was born to William (Bill) and Haroldene (Hal) Shreck at 1:30 pm on August 15th, 1955 in Kewanee, IL. Anne grew up all over the state of Illinois and graduated from Collinsville High School in 1973. She worked various jobs including the fitness center at the YMCA in Edwardsville, IL. Even though she worked various jobs, she would say her main job was being a mother. She was an excellent mother who was heavily involved in her son’s upbringing all throughout his younger years and was a room mother at many of her son’s schools. Anne would create projects for the kids in his class, including hatching chickens in an incubator. Along with being a room mother, she was a phenomenal artist and creative person. She was thoughtful and lived to help people. Anne would make meals around the holidays and passed them out to people in need. She was truly one of a kind and will be missed greatly. Anne is survived by her only son Jonathan Dillow, sister Robin Greenberg, cousin Jane Walton, and dear friends Marty and Rhonda Moore.
