Alla B. Boyer

Alla B.Boyer, 89 of Granite City passed on Sunday November 11, 2018, 2:05 A.M. at Granite City Nursing and Rehab Center. The Senath Missouri native was born on March 13, 1929. She was the daughter of the late W. L. and Vergie nee Stacy Collier.

She married the late Alvin Boyer April 16, 1949 in Piggott, Arkansas, who passed away August 6, 2007.

Survived by children Michael (Eileen) Boyer of Pontoon Beach, Marvin (Diane) Boyer of Roach Missouri, Rose Marie (Larry) Abel of Dittmer Missouri, Gary Boyer of Fairview Heights, Vicky (Danny) Jones of Vandalia and Tammy (Richard) Carter of Granite City. There are 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, sisters Mava (Olan) Glass of Cedar Hill Missouri and Carolyn Collier of Maryville.

She was proceeded in death by sisters Alma Collier, Geraldine Thurman and Shelly Collier and brothers Awall Collier and Morris Collier.

Visitation is Wednesday November 14, 2018 4-8 P.M. Services at 11:00 A.M Thursday November 15, 2018 at Thomas Saksa Funeral Home in Granite City. Reverend Jessie Tedder will be presiding. Burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. 

Suggested memorials are the Kidney Foundation, Hospice of Southern Illinois, or a charity of one’s choice.
